Jenkintown High School
325 Highland Avenue (entrance to the auditorium is on West Avenue)
Jenkintown, PA 19046 Due to the recently constructed link, Highland Avenue is no longer a through street. The entrance to the High School is on West Avenue.
From Pennsylvania Turnpike for Willow Grove Exit #343 (old Exit # 27) & Points North and East:
1. Take Route 611 South approximately 5 miles to Jenkintown
2. You will pass through Willow Grove & Abington Township
3. Turn right at light onto West Ave. (Bank on left side)
4. Follow West Ave. through the traffic light (Walnut Street)
5. Tennis courts are on the left immediately followed by the high school.
From Philadelphia & Points South:
1. Take Route 611 North approximately 5 miles to Jenkintown
2. You will pass through Cheltenham Township
3. Shortly after crossing route # 73 you will be in Jenkintown
4. Turn left at light onto West Avenue (Bank on the right)
5. Follow West Avenue through the traffic light (Walnut Street)
6. Tennis courts are on the left immediately followed by the high school
From PA Turnpike Fort Washington Exit 339 (old Exit # 26) & Points West or North:
1. Take Route # 309 South past the Arcadia College Exit
2. Get into left lane and pass Cheltenham HS on the left
3. Turn left at the first light onto Greenwood Avenue
4. Follow Greenwood Avenue (cross Route # 73) go over bridge (Jenkintown Train Station underneath) and make an immediate, sharp left onto West Avenue.
5. Follow West Avenue up the hill past Beaver Hill Apartments
6. High school is on your right after the Elementary School /Administration Building (the link) |
